on Your Day
Your K-Tip Elevation appointment at Holistic Crowns is structured as a private, unhurried ritual — not an assembly-line service. You will arrive at our Las Vegas studio on Flamingo Road to a space designed entirely around your comfort and privacy.
Maete begins with a detailed scalp health assessment, reviewing your natural hair's density, porosity, and growth patterns before selecting the precise weight and thickness of K-Tip strands that will create the most natural, follicle-safe result. Hair color matching is done strand-by-strand in natural light.
Installation of a full head of K-Tips takes approximately 3–5 hours, depending on the desired volume. The process is meditative and careful — never rushed. You leave the studio with a fully styled finish and a personalized maintenance guide for your new crown.
The Maintenance Ritual
Protecting your investment and your natural hair health is a shared commitment. Here is the cadence of care Maete recommends for every K-Tip Elevation client.
Weeks 1–2: The Bond-Setting Period
During the first two weeks, avoid washing the hair for 48 hours post-installation, and sleep with hair loosely braided. The keratin bond is completing its final set. Introduce a sulfate-free, extension-safe shampoo and a lightweight bonding conditioner — no product on the bonds themselves.
Months 1–3: Active Wear & Nourishment
Wash no more than 2–3 times per week, always in a downward motion to prevent tangling at bond points. Deep condition the mid-lengths and ends weekly. When using heat tools, apply a heat protectant from mid-shaft down — never directly on the bond. Regular scalp massages stimulate follicle health and natural growth beneath the extension.
Month 3: The Mid-Point Check-In
